Pre-Party Preparations

Since Hannah's birthday fell on a Tuesday (a day in which both Tim and I work all day long), we held off celebrating until Saturday. I wanted to make some hamburger cupcakes and a hamburger cake for her party because that was kind of the theme we were going for. (For those of you who know us well, you know that Hannah is also known as the Hamburglar). Hence, the theme. I must say I was quite pleased with the results.

Good morning sunshine!

It is hard to believe that it was two years ago on this day you were born. Wow! My little baby is all grown up!

Okay, not quite grown up enough to understand the whole birthday thing - but I love that you learned the song so now you sing it to yourself all the time. :)

Okay, it's my turn...

Neither Tim nor I like anything that spins, so of course, Hannah is rather smitten with carousels. We switch off taking her on them. I wonder how many pictures we have of this girl riding the merry-go-round... We had a great time today though - both Tim and I had the day off so we packed a picnic lunch and spent the day at the train park. Everyone had a great time!
